Often, the trouble started earlier.

A Grade 9 question about ratios can go wrong because of fractions from Grade 5 or 6. Our teacher checks that earlier idea first, and teaches it.

½ + ⅓ = ⅖, adding tops and bottoms 1 2 + 1 3 = 2 5
Adding the tops and the bottoms. A habit from years ago.

Two classes a week, 45 minutes each.

A lesson on a weeknight, then a practice sheet at home with the answers. A weekend class works on exactly where each child got stuck.

A short email about your child, every week.

What your child got stuck on, what the teacher saw, and one question to ask at home. No marks and no scores.
